The CMC-S Grant Program
CMC-South
offers scholarships of up to $1,000 to South students enrolled in
credential programs and to teacher-members for in-service and
professional development.
The Elisabeth Javor K-8 Mentoring Award
This
is to be awarded annually to a mentor/mentee team: a K-8 classroom teacher in his/her first five years of service and to the mentor of said teacher.
The Lurie Center Elementary Teaching Award
This
is open to all teachers who work with students of color and differs
from The Lurie Center Scholarship, a state-wide award with different
eligibility criteria, although both can be used to send a teacher to
the annual November Palm Springs Mathematics Conference of CMC-South.
