Meeting the Professional Development Needs of NCLB
The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB, a.k.a. Title 1) states that Professional Development should be of a long term nature with focus on areas that would work to improve student performance at the site. A workshop series that focuses on a content area in depth is viewed appropriate (as opposed to a format that offers a variety of ?one shot? workshops).
CMC's Mathematics Conferences offer ideal professional development opportunities. Its exciting programs will also support the criteria of NCLB. See each conference site for additional details.
Call toll-free 888-CMC-MATH or write our Executive Secretary for an informational brochure. Please specify which conference(s) you wish to attend. Leave a physical address for regular mail.
