2011 Registration Information

REGISTRATION CLOSED UNTIL ON SITE. We are processing the late registrations now and need time to clear those already received. You can still register onsite at the PS Convention Center Friday or Saturday, starting around 7:30 each morning.

Your member number can be found in your address on the most recent issue of the ComMuniCator. If you can not locate a copy you can email Mike Contino at ExecSect@cmc-math.org to have your member number emailed to you. 

Only a limited number of people can access the online registration at one time. Should you encounter problems accessing the registration page, try back later.

Types of Registration

  • Member:  Have your member number to enter onto the registration form. It can be found in the corner of the address label of the Communicator. If you do not know your member number, you can still register; we will look it up for you after you register.
  • Non-Member: You will receive a one-year membership in CMC with your registration. Welcome to CMC!

  • *Student: To register as a student, you must be a full-time student and not receiving pay as a teacher.

  • Speaker/Co-Speaker: Speakers receive complimentary registration that includes a one-year membership. Co-speakers (person listed second on the program) receive complimentary registration but must pay $50 for membership. If you expect to have a zero balance, select the check/PO link when registering.

  • Group (PENDING): A group must have five teachers (coaches, administrators, etc.) from the same school.
    • You will have to identify a contact person for the group. This person does not have to attend the conference. The contact person should be listed in the billing information section.

    • Up to five attendees can register on one form. After you have entered the personal information and added it to the cart, you can delete the information and enter the next attendee's information.

    • Send a list of the members of your group to palmsprings@cmc-math.org. Once the group is verified, a $5/person discount will be given.

Payment Options

  • Credit Card:  Have your credit card when you begin registering. Credit card payments are made through PayPal even without a PayPal account. If you select credit card, you will be taken to the PayPal site as soon as you finish your registration form. If you have difficulty with the PayPal site, do not re-register. Contact us at palmsprings@cmc-math.org. You will be sent an invoice that will allow you to make your payment.

  • Personal Check:  After completing your registration, mail personal checks to Cheryl Avalos, 3109 Sunrise Ridge Lane, Hacienda Heights, CA 91745. Checks should be made out to CMC-South.

  • Purchase Order: Purchase orders must be mailed to Cheryl Avalos, 3109 Sunrise Ridge Lane, Hacienda Heights and an invoice will be sent to your district. You must enter a contact person and contact information.  Enter the PO number if you know it. You may register even though you do not have the PO number or a copy of the purchase order. However, you will not receive your registration materials until a copy of the PO is received.

Ticketed Sessions 

No sessions require advanced tickets this year.

Cancellations

If you must cancel, please notify CMC-S in writing. A cancellation fee, generally $70 for regular registrations, applies. If you have received the registration materials, they must be returned with your notice for the cancel request to be valid. Cancellations will not be honored after November 1, 2011.

Invoice: You will receive an invoice when you complete your registration. You may keep the invoice as a receipt or turn it in to your district to be processed with your purchase order.

Exhibits: 8:00 - 5:30 Friday; Saturday 8:00 - 3:00
