Mini-Grants
CMC-North offers mini-grants (up to $500) to North members who teach in public or private schools in the Northern section. Click here for details and applications.
The Dave Logothetti Memorial Asilomar Scholarship
Dave Logothetti from Santa Clara University was that all too rare combination ? a great mathematician and a great mathematics educator; he was very instrumental in developing CMC, especially CMC-North, into the strong viable voice for teachers that it is today. In his memory CMC-North gives free registration to the annual Asilomar Conference, including room and board and a one-year CMC membership, to a new or student teacher from each of its affiliates. Each affiliate is responsible for choosing the recipient of the award and sets up its own requirements (such as volunteering a few hours that weekend to help with on-site registrations). Contact your local CMC-North affiliate for additional information. Click here for help in identifying and contacting your Affiliates.
