Let's go to Monterey Bay for the weekend of March 12th and 13th!
Begin your weekend with a really cool K-12 algebra symposium and then end the weekend with a visit along the coast of Monterey Bay. There is no need for a sub because it is Friday night and all day Saturday. The cost is just $140 for the symposium, with the options of $55 for the banquet, and $75 for one unit of semester credit from CSU, Stanislaus.
The Algebraic Symposium provides a unique opportunity for Professional development. Friday night will include a banquet and keynote speaker, Paul Giganti. On Saturday you will experience two intimate grade level sessions to engage you into a world of algebraic thinking. You will come away with an in depth understanding that will inspire you for an exciting Monday morning. In between sessions you will be able to visit vendors to find those treasures for your students and your classroom.
Be sure to register for the 2010 Algebraic Thinking Symposium. Also remember to make your reservations at the Embassy Suites in Seaside. We have a set of rooms set aside, make sure that you say that you are with CMC Central to get the group rate of $177 per night.
We look forward to sharing the algebraic experience with you. |
