2010 CMC-South Biennial Leadership Conference
Officers and emerging leaders of CMC-South's eight affiliates convened in Ontario, CA for a biennial CMC-S Leadership Conference, October 15-17, 2010. Equity, California Common Core Mathematics Standards, and 21st Century mathematics teaching and learning were interwoven throughout conference breakouts, presentations and team planning time. Job alike and electronic media brought together the newest boards (ICMC, AVMC, LACTMA) and our returning organizations (GSDMC, OCMC, VCMC, SGVMC, RSBCMTA). Kudos and appreciation also goes out to the conference organizers (CMC South Executive Board with the lead taken by President-elect Lisa Usher-Staats), as well as presenters and facilitators, including: Dr. Jennifer Smith, Dr. Kyndall Brown, Diane Kinch, Sheri Willebrand, Diana Ceja, Bruce Grip, Dina Williams, Sara Munshin, Annette Kitagawa, and Rafael Quintinilla.
